Aliens returns to Jasna 1 on 15 August. From 23:00 until sunrise, the room is set for a long build: deep pressure, hypnotic pacing, and enough space for each set to land properly. This is a night for people who pay attention to detail. Gio Shengelia headlines the night. Active since the early 2000s, he is one of the defining figures of Georgia’s electronic music scene, with appearances across the country’s key clubs and festivals. He also curated Electronica, a radio show that helped introduce electronic music to a wider Georgian audience. Today, he is a resident and team member of 4GB Festival and co-founder of Timetravelstuff label. The rest of the night is carried by Dima Kachan, opening with long, gradually shifting techno built on repetition and tension; PAWEL, Jasna 1 resident, following with stripped-back, driving grooves; and Dolu, founder of Aliens, keeping the night moving through to morning with the project’s focused approach. This one is for those who stay for the whole arc.
