Wild At Heart kicks off 2024 with a night full of bass & breaks euphoria provided by a lineup of excellent selectors and producers, this time presenting the sound of London’s Breaka.
Charlie Baker’s aka Breaka’s signature sound consists of prominent bass lines, emotive harmonies and unique percussive rhythms. With releases on Holding Hands Records, his own Breaka Recordings and a number of widely supported remixes, he set momentum with a new sound, showcasing his varied range of taste with nods to trance, footwork, UK funky and more.
Anna Borsuk, a high-energy DJ and promoter who brings the charm of the Ukrainian underground scene to Warsaw, is in charge of closing, and daisy cutter, curator of the series, will open the main stage.
The bar room will be taken over by two solid figures in the local electronic music scene: Bambi Uzi, the ambassador of Łódź and a lover of bass in different tempos and varieties, and Yes Stanley – a producer and DJ whose unique sound combines various genres from techno and trance to electro and breakbeat, and who’s active in the Wrocław-based LVN collective.
