A Hard Wax veteran and its longest-serving crew member, he’s been shaking dancefloors and pushing sonic boundaries since 1988. As a Hard Wax employee, Erik Jabari has spent years refining his sound. His music is techno centered with influences from house, dubstep, UKG and drum n bass. In his productions you can feel his appreciation of the origins of electronic music, which helped him to find his own modern sound.His DJ sets are techno-centered, driving and powerful, but also subtle and elegant.
“We’ve known each other forever—our parents were friends, and as a kid, I used to visit his place with my sister. Pete was the one who introduced me to techno and shaped my taste, especially as a DJ. Our collaboration started during COVID, when we both found ourselves without a set routine. We spent a lot of time hanging out, listening to music, and I kept showing him my tracks.
