Danish trance queen returns to our booth! We’re beyond excited to welcome back Najaaraq Vestbirk, aka Courtesy! Courtesy has become a staple throughout Europe as one of the most forward thinking selectors in the game, drawing elements of the past, present & future into the her dynamic and punching DJ sets, it means that she turns to the genre of trance, bleepy acid classics and features oldschool anthems as well as underground new discoveries. Courtesy is also the artistic director of Kulør, a record label and multidisciplinary artistic platform. Launched in 2018, Kulør is at the heart of Copenhagen’s fast techno scene. Previous releases have come from the likes of Schacke, DJ IBON and Kasper Marott. Support comes from dd and Meke.
On our second dacefloor, in collaboration with Unsound, we’re thrilled to host — Crystallmess. French rave icon and unstoppable force behind the decks, Crystallmess brings an abrasive, high-energy dancefloor spirit that’s impossible to resist.
Christelle Oyiri, aka Crystallmess, wants her sets to make you feel “transformed, terrified, sexy, and understood.” A fixture in both the art world and underground club culture, she’s been pushing boundaries for years — and broke into the mainstream spotlight last year when she DJ’d as part of Frank Ocean’s talked-about Coachella show.
Joining her is Lee Gamble, the visionary DJ and producer who’s been captivating listeners with his heady blend of philosophy, computer music, and sound art. A long-time Hyperdub affiliate, Gamble’s been crafting weird, wonderful sonic worlds since the early 2010s — no borders, all genres, pure magic.
Local support comes from jul.ci, member of the bass collective TUNE:L and a regular at MEGABANG. Expect a wild blend of dancehall, reggaetón, dubstep, and dembow.
