Renowned Polish experimental music producer Przemysław Jankowiak, best known as 1988, will be performing for the first time at Jasna 1 under his alias 2K88. This project taps into ’90s and ’00s Polish rap nostalgia, enriched with references to UK club music. As a co-founder of the legendary duo SYNY, Jankowiak skillfully navigates genres such as jungle, hip-hop, ambient, and dub, all while embracing bold musical experimentation.

On June 28, in collaboration with Unsound, 2K88 released his latest album, SHAME, on vinyl as well as in digital and streaming formats. SHAME captures the essence of PL SOUND, a local genre influenced by British soundsystem music but layered with the social, urban, and sonic themes that emerged during Poland’s post-communist transformation. Joining him will be local bass powerhouse Majli, whose presence has been much missed. Expect a total bass-heavy showdown.
